Zcela nová Mazda CX-80 – elegantní třířadé SUV nabízející až sedm sedadel – je úchvatným příkladem japonského řemeslného umění. Je prostorná a všestranná, vybroušená do puntíku pro vše, co vám život nabízí. V Japonsku je prostor vnímán jako plátno. Jako prostor, který můžete zaplnit smíchem, rodinou a dobrodružstvím.
Nová vlajková loď Mazdy oficiálně přijíždí do Evropy. Od zahájení evropského prodeje úplně nové podvozkové architektury s podélně uloženými motory už uplynuly více než dva roky. Japonci ji v Evropě začali prodávat v doposud největším modelu CX-60, který dnešním dnem dostává ještě většího sourozence. Vrcholná Mazda CX-80 je prodlouženou variantou původního modelu a dělá jej až nepotřebným.
Novinku automobilka vyvinula na stejném technickém základu Skyactiv Multi-Solution Scalable Architecture a je dokonalou ukázkou této modulární podvozkové platformy v praxi. Nová Mazda CX-80 je prodlouženou „CX-šedesátkou“ a v Česku i zbytku Evropy se bude prodávat se šesti- nebo sedmimístnou konfigurací sedadel.
Už při zákulisním představení nám zástupci evropské divize značky odhalili, že pětimístná verze nikdy nevznikne, protože pak by CX-60 už neměla vůbec žádný smysl. Osobně si myslím, že o přežití menšího modelu rozhodne především cenový rozdíl. Pokud bude nová CX-80 jen nepatrně dražší, asi nebudete mít jediný důvod si menší CX-60 koupit.
Nová CX-80 není americkou CX-90 pro Evropu
Pokud v posledních letech sledujete globální produkci Mazdy, nepochybně vám je CX-80 povědomá. Na první pohled totiž vypadá jako evropský derivát modelu CX-90 určeného pro americký trh. Záměrně jsem se při zákulisním rozhovoru zeptal na rozdílnosti a skutečnost je taková, že americká CX-90 je o dalších 100 milimetrů delší a současně také o 100 milimetrů širší.
Tohle je ten hlavní problém, jaký se automobilce s novou evropskou vlajkovou lodí konečně povedlo vyřešit. Nová Mazda CX-80 totiž vypadá až bezchybně. Minimálně při našich prvních statických dojmech. Na první jízdní zkušenosti si ještě musíme počkat. A mimochodem, s novou Mazdou CX-80 se v továrním vzorníku barev objeví i nový měděný odstín Melting Cooper.
Šesti-, nebo sedmimístné konfigurace sedadel
Nová Mazda CX-80 se bude v Evropě prodávat v celkem třech konfiguracích interiéru. Největší sedmimístná konfigurace sedadel bude disponovat tradiční lavicí ve druhé řadě, kterou budete moci nahradit samostatnými „kapitánskými“ křesly ve dvou verzích – s volným průchodem mezi nebo středovou konzolí se stolečkem. Automobilka v oficiální tiskové zprávě současně uvádí, že druhá řada sedadel je posuvná v rozsahu 120 milimetrů.
Standardem modelu je velký zavazadlový prostor se základním objemem 687 litrů (s druhou řadou sedadel vpředu) a sklopením sedadel jej můžete zvětšit až na maximálních 1971 litrů. Plug-in hybridní model Mazda vybavila zdrojem elektrické energie o výkonu 1500 W, z něhož můžete skrze dvojici zásuvek v zavazadlovém prostoru nabíjet elektrické koloběžky a další příslušenství. Standardem všech vozů pak jsou nabíjecí porty USB-C v každé řadě sedadel.
Na nová sedadla ve třetí řadě si pohodlně sednou všechny osoby se vzrůstem do 170 centimetrů. Přední část pro řidiče a spolujezdce pak je starým známým místem. Novinkou je vylepšený infotainment s hlasovou asistentkou Alexa od Amazonu novou funkcí zpětné kamery Trailer Hitch View pro usnadnění couvání s přívěsem i jeho připojování. Pomocí zoomu si můžete přiblížit pohled na tažné zařízení pro jednodušší připojení. Tato funkce funguje při vzdálenosti od přívěsu kratší než jeden metr.
Plug-in hybrid i poctivý turbodiesel
Obě motorizace pro novou Mazdu CX-80 vycházejí z menšího sourozence. Při zákulisním představení jsme si mohli prohlédnout plug-in hybrid e-Skyactiv PHEV s 2,5litrovým zážehovým čtyřválcem s elektromotorem a kombinovaným výkonem 241 kW (327 koní), točivým momentem 500 newtonmetrů, zrychlením z 0 na 100 km/h za 6,8 sekundy a maximální rychlostí 195 km/h. Standardně má lithium-ion akumulátor s kapacitou 17,8 kWh a ujede až 53 kilometrů čistě na elektřinu.
Stejně tak se v novince objeví i nový elektrifikovaný přeplňovaný 3,3litrový vznětový řadový šestiválec e-Skyactiv D s 48voltovým mild-hybridním systémem M Hybrid Boost. Se 187 kW (254 koňmi) nejvyššího výkonu a točivým momentem 550 newtonmetrů slibuje zrychlení z 0 na 100 km/h za 8,4 sekundy a maximální rychlost 219 km/h.
Standardem obou modelů budou automatické převodovky, pohon všech čtyř kol a automobilka uvádí, že nová CX-80 disponuje tažnou kapacitou až 2500 kilogramů. Ve srovnání s menší CX-60 pak je nová CX-80 o přibližně 100 kilogramů těžší, což si vyžádalo nové nastavení podvozku s dvojitými lichoběžníky vpředu a víceprvkovou nápravou vzadu.
Nová Mazda CX-80 živě
Během prvního setkání ve studiu předprodukční Mazda CX-80 působila až bezchybně, tedy pokud se poučí z chyb menšího sourozence. Ten při jízdě na méně kvalitním asfaltu není moc pohodlný, ale zástupci značky nám při kratičkém rozhovoru odhalili, že novinka s upraveným naladěním a delším rozvorem je už pohodlnější. Nezbývá nám tedy, než si počkat na první jízdní dojmy.
Celkově je až ideálním rodinným autem, jež by na českém trhu mohlo zamíchat s prodeji velkých rodinných SUV. Nová evoluce designového jazyka Kodo je svěží, interiér vyvinutý podle japonské filozofie Ma působí luxusně a naftový řadový šestiválec bude v dnešní downsizingové době velkým tahákem.
Nová Mazda CX-80 zatím nemá stanovené české ceny, k objednání bude od května 2024 a do našeho salónu by první modely měly přijít na podzim letošního roku.
